Agreement
These terms govern the tuition and education consultancy services provided by Pareto Path. By booking a session or engaging our services you agree to these terms. Pareto Path LLP is registered in England and Wales (OC460781); our registered address is 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ.
Services
We provide one to one tuition, academic consultancy, dissertation and thesis reviews, and related educational support, in person in London and online. The free 15 minute Diagnostic Call carries no obligation on either side.
Bookings and payment
Sessions start from £99 per hour, and many students book packages of five to ten sessions. Fees and any package terms are agreed before lessons begin. Payment is due as agreed at the point of booking unless stated otherwise.
Cancellations and rescheduling
We ask for at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule a session. Sessions cancelled with less notice may be charged in full. We will always try to be flexible in genuine emergencies.
Academic integrity
We support, guide and strengthen your own work. We do not write, complete or sit assessed work on your behalf, and all final work and its submission remain your sole responsibility, in line with your institution’s academic integrity rules.
Outcomes
We are committed to helping every student reach their potential, and we are proud of our results. However, specific grades or outcomes depend on many factors beyond our control and cannot be guaranteed.
Intellectual property
Materials we create and share with you are for your personal study only and may not be redistributed or resold without our written permission.
Recording of sessions
1. Recording by agreement. We may record, transcribe and summarise online sessions using Google Meet and its Gemini AI features. We will only record where the client, or the parent or guardian of a student under 18, has agreed. Agreement may be given in writing (including by email or WhatsApp), by accepting these Terms, or verbally at the start of a session after the recording notice has been given, and may be withdrawn at any time without affecting the tuition provided. 2. Use and handling. Recordings, transcripts and notes are used to deliver and improve tuition, keep teaching records, meet safeguarding and legal duties, and address complaints or claims. They are handled as set out in the Recorded sessions section of our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. 3. AI notes. AI-generated transcripts and notes may contain errors and are a working record only. You may ask us to correct any inaccuracy. 4. Deletion and retention. On request we will delete recordings of your sessions unless a legal ground requires retention. Our maximum retention is six years from the end of the tutoring relationship, subject to safeguarding requirements. 5. No sharing. You must not share any recording, transcript or note with any third party without our prior written consent and that of every participant in the session. 6. Subcontracted tutors. Where a subcontracted tutor delivers your tuition, that tutor is bound by written obligations to protect your information to the standard set out in these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
